Thank you, Mother Nature!
Nectarines are in season! Who doesn’t love a sweet & juicy nectarine?
I try to make sure we have some type of fruit in the house. Fruit certainly helps when you’re trying to stay away from ice cream, cookies, & other sweets.
When is a nectarine ripe?
A tasty piece of fruit starts with a ripe piece of fruit. I left this nectarine on the counter for a couple of days. When I was able to give it a slight squeeze, it was ready for the fridge. And now that the nectarine is nicely chilled, it’s time to eat.
In 5 minutes or less, you can prepare this quick & easy, sweet treat.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- 1 Nectarine sliced & diced
- 1 Handful of Blueberries
- A Sprinkle of Chia Seeds
Place in a bowl. Stir. Chill. Eat. Enjoy.
Doesn’t get much simpler than this.
